   A promising and beautiful young lawyer who battled with cancer of the blood has passed away with her friends, family and loved ones paying their last respect.. Barr. Mrs Onyinye Ukpor   The remains of Barr. Mrs Onyinye Ukpor has been laid to rest.   The lawyer died of Leukaemia (cancer of the blood) at the age of 24. She died barely 9 months after getting married.   Severe pains and tears were the feelings the Alumni of Ojims College experienced and felt at the burial of an ex student late. Barr. Onyinye Ukpor Julius whose husband Mr Julius Chinedu Onyekwere is also an alumnus of Ojims College.   Tears flowed freely as she was committed to mother earth.   See more photos:

    A 16-Year-Old Boy identified as Uzairu Salisu, has had his eyes plucked out by his employer in the Dutsen Jira area of Yelwa area in Bauchi state on Thursday,. A Statement released by the spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakili, says the incident was reported to the police by the village head. Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim's name is Uzairu Salisu 'M' of kwanan Gulmammu Jahun Quarters. The victim stated that One Ibrahim of Rafin Zurfi whom he knows for some time lured him to the Bush for a menial job on his farm, The suspect Ibrahim used a cable wire to strangulate the victim and remove his two eyes.'' Wakili said that the victim is currently in the Abubakar Tafawabalewa Teaching Hospital Bauchi (ATBUTH) receiving medical attention while efforts are being made to arrest the suspect.

     Doctors in North West have successfully removed a knife from the brain of a 23-year-old man who was stabbed during a tavern brawl. According to Tshepiso Mothibi‚ he was enjoying drinks at a tavern in Magogoe near Mahikeng on March 11th when a fight broke out and he was stabbed through the left eye. With the sharp self-made shank knife still embedded in his brain‚ he was airlifted from the Mahikeng provincial hospital to the Tshepong Hospital where an operation to remove the knife was successfully carried out by Dr Tharun Krishna‚ head of the hospital’s neurosurgery unit‚ assisted by his team. According to Polaki Mokatsane‚ CEO of the Klerksdorp/Tshepong Hospital Complex it was a “very complex operation” as a CT scan showed that “the whole sharp side of the knife was impacted and buried in the brain with only the handle side of the knife sticking outside”. “The surgery took five hours to complete successfully and the patient responded well‚” Mokatsane said‚ adding that Mothibi was

 A few days ago, we brought you reports about how a fresh graduate of History and International Studeis from the UNiversity of Calabar died in a motor accident on January,  just a few days to her wedding, which was slated for February. Mary has been buried on her ‘Wedding Day’  The accident which took her life occurred in Edor, Ikom local government area of Cross River State. She was said to be on her way to her hometown for the traditional wedding rites. Late Owan was a niece to University of Calabar Vice Chancellor, Prof. Zana Akpagu.

According to information gathered, the baby fell into the well while playing and died some minutes later as no adult was around to rescue the baby. By the time help came, the baby had already given up the ghost.

A 31-year-old woman, Ate Joy Veronica, who died four days after her wedding has been buried in Benue state, Reports. From The Information Gathered By , Veronica and her husband, Irabor Samuel, from Edo State, had their traditional and court weddings on December respectively. She was said to have fallen sick on December 4 and died the following day,
